We will be fishing Silver Lake. Meet near the bridge to the island
between the Visitor Center and the lake.
Note from Monta: When I checked out the lake this spring we caught sunfish, Crappie, and largemouth bass. Pink Squirrels was the fly. I used my 4-weight rod which was a lot of fun.
Fly suggestions: pink squirrel, pheasant tail nymph, hares ear nymph, small poppers, small wooly buggers. A few common dry flies just in case: Adams, Blue wing olive, caddis. I’ve occasionally caught fish on dry flies in the evening on this lake. Pan fish have small mouths so small sized hooks.
