What's great about this club is that you can show up just as you are. It doesn't matter if you're a beginner, expert, terrible at fly-tying, or have no idea what a double haul is. It's a community of women who are here to support each other and have a fantastic time doing it!
Before joining, I thought fly fishing was something you had to figure out alone. Instead, I found mentors who answered every question, women who cheered my small wins, and friendships that go far beyond the riverbank.
The Fishing Around Town meetups in the summer are so much fun! It's a great way to meet other members and go fishing on a different body of water in the Twin Cities. I love the social afterwards.
